A Good Sunday School For You To Attend

We recommend that you attend our Bible-centered and Christ-honoring Sunday School because our church is a God-ordained institution which teaches the great eternal truths.

“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:3–4

“. . . In the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” 1 Timothy 3:15

We rejoice to see Children come into our Sunday School and Church, for our precious Saviour loves them and wants them to learn the way of salvation before Satan is able to lead them astray.

“Jesus said, Suffer (permit) little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3:15

We are thrilled to see Teenagers come into our Sunday School in this period of history characterized by juvenile delinquency, moral degeneracy and emotional turmoil — for God can greatly use and bless young people.

“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy Youth , while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.” Ecclesiastes 12:1

“Let no man despise thy Youth , but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, inspirit, in faith, in purity . . . Give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee . . . .” 1 Timothy 4:12–14

We are deeply thankful when we see Adults come into our Sunday School and Church — for it has always been God’s purpose to win the parents to His side.

“And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.” Acts 5:14.

Our Sunday School is a wonderful part of our church effort to carry out the instructions of the risen Saviour, Who commanded:

“Go ye therefore, and teach (make disciples of) all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost : teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you . . . .” Matthew 28:19–20

We humbly and thankfully report that our Church and its Bible School departments have remained loyal to Christ and His Word in an era when religious denominations, like other institutions, are being corrupted. It is tragically true, as the Scripture below indicates, that not all churches are to be recommended.

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Acts 20:28–32
