After fighting abortion for 30 years I thought I had seen and heard it all, but not so. Here is a new development, a coordinated high-tech industry functioning for the specific purpose of obtaining and selling high-quality fetal organs for research.

Partial-Birth abortions seemed to be so horrible that most of us wondered how such procedures could be defended. Many of us chalked it up to the fact that the pro-abortion advocates and the abortion industry didn't want to give one inch for fear that their whole house of cards will fold. I, among others, felt that their resistance to forbidding this gruesome procedure was a fear of a domino effect. If we stopped this one, then we'd stop the next and the next and the next and they didn't want it to start. But now we have evidence of a very clear additional reason why they want these late-term abortions to continue. The reason is that this is the one method that gives them intact fetal bodies from which they can obtain organs for research.

The other method of late-term abortion, D&E (Dilatation and Evacuation), involves reaching up into the uterus and dismembering the live baby. This delivers pieces of macerated organs that are usually unsuitable for fetal research, transplantation etc. This may be the main reason for their vehement defense of the practice of Partial-Birth abortion.

The story was broken recently by Life Dynamics under the guidance of its director, Mark Crutcher. A lady came to him with a story, which he has verified. The name of the informant cannot be revealed, as she is still involved in the work that she has exposed. Her story is dramatically recorded in a video just released by Life Dynamics. In it, this woman under the pseudonym, Kelly, tells her story. Her back is to the camera and her voice is electronically altered to prevent her identification. She worked for "an outside source, hired with a team to go in [to late term abortion clinics] to dissect and procure fetal tissue for high-quality sales." Read on as Kelly describes her macabre profession. "What we did was to have a contract with an abortion clinic that would allow us to go there on certain days. We would get a generated list each day to tell us what tissue researchers, pharmaceutical companies and universities were looking for. Then we would examine the patient charts. We would screen out the ones we didn't want. We did not use specimens that had STDs [sexually transmitted diseases] or fetal abnormalities. We only wanted the most perfect specimens that we could give to the researchers." And the age of these babies? The victims were up to and over 30-weeks gestation. "We were looking for eyes, livers, brains, thymuses [lymphoid tissue], cardiac blood, cord blood, blood from the liver, even blood from the limbs."

Only an estimated 2% of the late term aborted babies had abnormalities. "The rest were very healthy. 95% of the time, she was just there to get rid of the baby." How many of the late-term the ones around 30 weeks would you see? "Probably 30 or 40 babies a week."

Kelly stated, "We would sell the tissue to private contractors. They in turn would sell to other universities and researchers. There was a high demand every week to buy such fetal tissues. It was shipped by UPS, FedEx, Airborne and sometimes by special couriers. Sometimes we would take the specimen in a box to the airport and put it on as regular cargo, to be picked up at the destination." And did these shipping companies know they were transporting baby parts? "No. All they knew was that it was just human cells. But it could be a completely intact fetus. It might be a batch of eyes, or 30 or 40 livers going out that day, or thymuses."

And the leftover parts? "We would usually put this down the garbage disposal along with the placenta and the leftover blood material. If it was too large to go down the drain, they had a special freezer and when they accumulated 60 or 70 fetuses in one box, it would be picked up for incineration."

And then the obvious question. Kelly is still working for this company, so why did she come and tell this story to a prolife group? One day when she was working, "A set of twins at 24 weeks gestation was brought to us in a pan. They were both alive. The doctor came back and said, `Got you some good specimens, twins.' I looked at him and said, `There's something wrong here. They are moving. I don't do this. This is not in my contract.' I told him I would not be part of taking their lives. So he took a bottle of sterile water and poured it in the pan until the fluid came up over their mouths and noses, letting them drown. I left the room because I could not watch this." But she did go back and dissect them after they were dead. She said, "That's when I decided it was wrong. I did not want to be there when that happened." And then it happened again and again. "At 16 weeks, all the way up to sometimes even 30 weeks, and we had live births come back to us." And then? "Then the doctor would either break the neck or take a pair of tongs and beat the fetus until it was dead."

Did the abortionist ever alter the procedures to get you the type of specimens you needed that day? Her answer was "Yes, before the procedures they would want to see the list of what we wanted to procure. The [abortionist] would get us the most complete, intact specimens that he could. They would be delivered to us completely intact. Sometimes the fetus appeared to be dead, but when we opened up the chest cavity, the heart was still beating." She was asked if the type of abortion procedure was intentionally altered to deliver to you an intact specimen, even if that meant giving you a live baby? Her answer was, "Yes, that was so we could sell better tissue, so that our company would make more money. At the end of the year, they would give the clinic back more money because we got good specimens."

The Partial-Birth abortion procedure involves inserting seaweed laminaria into the cervix. This swells up, dilating the cervix. In 24 hours, new laminaria are inserted. This produces more swelling and dilatation so that by the third day the baby can be extracted. During the dilatation procedure she is sent to a nearby motel. Sometimes the laminaria would fall out and she would go into labor and deliver the baby. And then? "They would call the nurse, and the nurse would call the doctor who would go to the motel room and pick up the woman and the fetus. That's when they would call us and say, `Okay, we've got a couple of specimens here,' or `We've got one specimen.' We would go [to the clinic] and the specimen [the baby] would be in a bucket, sometimes alive. When we opened the chest cavity the heart would still be beating. Sometimes we could see movement in the bucket. These babies had to come out alive. There's no way for them to be coming out dead. They were all alive. How they killed them is anyone's guess. My guess is that they had to kill them in the bucket or put them in a corner and let them die slowly." And that was because the abortionist had seen how strongly you reacted to seeing them killed in front of you? "That's correct. And he did not want to repeat those instances but they kept happening anyway, and that's how I came to call you guys [Life Dynamics]."

Finally, Kelly related how sometimes a woman, halfway through the dilatation procedure, would change her mind and say she did not want the abortion. In such a case they would tell her that it's too late now. "You're going to have the abortion." Kelly said, "All of the staff would gather around pressuring her to have the abortion. On the second day, they're given an IV sedation, which kind of puts them into what I call a Nyquil nap. They're just basically drowsy, not thinking for themselves and that's basically how they are coerced into continuing the procedure."

Finally, in the interview, she notes that many of the employees of the clinics were lesbians. When the mother was unconscious these women would discuss her genitalia with degrading remarks and on occasion even take the phone number off of her chart. Then they would "call her weeks down the road and ask her out for a date. It was not uncommon for women or men at the clinic to hit on these women for dates."

Now we know one of the major reasons why the abortion industry is fighting so intensely to prevent a ban on PartialBirth abortion from being enacted. It's more than not giving any ground on abortion for any reason. It's also because selling fetal parts is a very lucrative part of the abortion business. These mothers pay large sums of money for late term abortions and the abortionists in turn are given big money for these intact organs. The model specimens have to be: the bigger the better, the older the better, the more alive the better.

In our last issue Dr. Willke brought you the shocking news that the abortion industry is involved in the harvesting of organs and tissue of aborted babies. As part of a two-year, ongoing investigation, Life Dynamics interviewed "Kelly," one of a team of individuals who work closely with abortionists to provide a wide range of human fetal tissue to pharmaceutical, government and university laboratories. Further, evidence shows that they will sometimes instruct the abortionist as to which type of procedure should be performed on the woman to ensure that the desired tissue is delivered intact.

Kelly's interview detailed the ghastly and often illegal procedures used to obtain the desired lucrative baby body parts. Repulsed by the gruesome reality of her work, Kelly reported this activity to pro-life leaders and continues to work within the abortion industry, gathering information to expose the dirty and deadly secrets of so-called "choice." When we first broke this story in Connector, Dr. Willke was unable to reveal the documentation to prove Kelly's statements. The sensitive nature of the ongoing investigation dictated that we could not divulge this information without revealing Kelly's true identity. We can now share with you ironclad documentation that the abortion industry is indeed participating in a horrifying scheme to sell body parts of aborted unborn babies for profit.

Selling body parts or human tissue is against federal law, so how does the abortion industry circumvent this? Fetal tissue wholesalers pay abortion clinics a "site fee" to place employees, also known as "procurement agents," into abortion clinics to collect various body parts of aborted babies. In return, the employee will have access to all desirable fetal tissue. These agencies then ship the tissue to researchers at pharmaceutical companies, university research laboratories and government agencies, Technically the wholesaler is not paying for the tissue itself, but renting space to harvest the body parts. The abortionist then "donates" the tissue to the wholesaler.

At the other end of the transaction the wholesaler will "donate" the fetal material to researchers but bill them for the cost of retrieval. Thus the business deal is complete.

Life Dynamic's investigation has uncovered two fetal tissue wholesalers. Anatomic Gift Foundation (AGF) began doing business in 1994. Its founders, Jim and Brenda Bardsley, operate from a double wide trailer near White Oak, Georgia. The location also functions as a catfish farm. AGF's headquarters has been moved to Laurel, Maryland, and Jim Bardsley's brother, Brent, is listed as the executive director. They have additional offices in Colorado and Arizona. Evidence shows that the Phoenix location deals only with adult tissue, but the facility in Aurora, Colorado is located in an abortion clinic called the Mayfair Women's Clinic. The person in charge is a woman named Ying Bei Wang. Representatives of AGF say they also operate in abortion clinics located in the Midwest and on the East Coast. In 1998 the National Abortion ` Federation listed AGF as a member.

The second wholesaler, Opening Lines, is located in West Frankfort, Illinois. It was founded in 1997 by Miles Jones, a pathologist. His partner, Gayla Rose, oversees operations. They are actively working to secure relationships with abortion clinics in Canada and Mexico. The National Abortion Federation lists both Miles Jones and Gayla Rose as donors in their 1991 annual report.

Both Wholesalers are located in small, rural areas in an attempt to avoid detection and pro-life protests. A spokesperson for Opening Lines, Dr. Miles Jones, bragged that even the businesses that rent in the same building are completely unaware of their clandestine operation.

Life Issues Institute has been provided with copies of 55 orders that have been placed for a vast array of body parts and tissue of aborted babies. This is merely a sampling of the numerous orders that exist. Copies of these orders are available upon request. Information that would identify the individual or facility ordering the fetal material has been omitted. Revelation of this information would reveal Kelly's true identity and stop further investigative work. Dr. Willke and I have viewed unredacted copies and can vouch for their detailed authenticity. We must caution you that this evidence is not for the squeamish reader. Orders for fetal materials are placed with a cold and callous disregard for human life. They demonstrate man's incredible inhumanity toward innocent unborn babies whose lives are viewed merely as a means of financial gain.

Highlighted throughout this article are excerpts of actual orders placed with these wholesalers. They matter-of-factly specify the tissue and quantity needed, detailed processing directions, shipping address, contacts with daytime and some nighttime phone numbers, and often a brief summary of what the tissue will be used for. They are careful to leave no loose ends. Even the Federal Express account numbers are provided for immediate shipment.

The documentation contradicts an often-repeated line of the abortion industry that late-term abortions are seldom done and only when the baby has a health condition incompatible with life. The fact is that a vast majority of the orders for fetal material require that there are no abnormalities in the unborn baby. Neither do they want to deal with any sexually transmitted diseases. Almost exclusively, only normal, healthy tissue is accepted.

This new evidence also strengthens a case for what many pro-lifers have suspected all along something that would be easy for the average person to overlook when reading through this documentation. One order requested 2-4 whole intact legs, including the entire hip joint of babies 22-24 weeks gestation. They outlined very specific dissecting instructions and required that the body parts be prepared for shipment within 10 minutes after the babies' deaths. That is an extremely narrow timeframe in which to perform various technical tasks. It increases the likelihood that the baby was not killed within the womb, but delivered alive, then killed and dissected. Another order specifically requested that the intact spinal column be processed "within 15 minutes after circulation has ceased."

Some individual orders required such a high volume of tissue that many unborn babies had to die to meet the demand of each one. The abortion industry is clearly involved in a lucrative, Frankenstein-like enterprise, and there is a seemingly never-ending demand for their human product that they are only too happy to supply. Evidence indicates that many pharmaceutical companies have jumped on the fetal tissue research bandwagon, frantically searching for cures that will meet the demands of aging baby boomers. These companies are well aware of the huge profits enjoyed by Viagra, which has even been eclipsed in profitability by a new arthritic pain-relieving drug. There is much money to be made for the drug company that can deliver the cure for Parkinson's or Alzheimer's to our senior citizens whose numbers are projected to vastly increase in the coming years.

Evidence clearly demonstrates that these wholesalers are in the business of selling human fetal issue. Opening Lines told Life Dynamic investigators that they offer volume discounts, free tissue to obtain new customers and occasional free tissue to good customers. Both AGF and Opening Lines provide a price list for their macabre services. AGF charges a flat fee per "specimen." However, the price varies depending upon whether it is a first trimester abortion or one done later in pregnancy, with frozen body parts costing more than fresh tissue and organs. There is also a separate price for spontaneous abortions or miscarriages.

Opening Lines offers individual pricing per organ or body part. This is technically called their "fee for services schedule." Prices vary for the same organ procured, depending upon the gestational age of the baby, with eight weeks being the dividing line. A sampling of their inventory includes: an intact trunk (with or without limbs) $500, gonads $550, eyes $75 (there is a 40% discount for a single eye), brains $999, limbs (at least 2) $150, spleens $75, livers $150, spinal cords $325, or you can get the entire intact unborn baby's body for $600. Prices are in effect through December 31, 1999. They also offer a 30% discount if the tissue is "significantly fragmented."

Opening Lines is more aggressive in their marketing. They have produced color sales brochures targeting both abortion clinics and research laboratories. They even offer materials to abortion clinics that are designed to sell pregnant women on the idea of donating their aborted babies. This decision by women, the brochures says, will help "thousands of people with diseases and disorders that otherwise might not be cured without research." The brochure tells abortion clinic operators how to "turn your patient's decision into something wonderful."

The brochure targeting research labs is no less aggressive in its marketing strategy. They even claim that their "daily average case volume exceeds 1,500." Bold headlines tout "FRESH FETAL TISSUE harvested and shipped to your specifications...where and when you need it!" They offer fees "lower than the industry average."

There is an important element in this gruesome issue that should not be overlooked, and that is the total exploitation of the pregnant woman. First she is told that what she carries inside her is not a baby it's a mass of tissue, a delayed period or a product of conception. If this were true, how does the abortion industry reconcile this rhetoric with a booming business in aborted babies' body parts? Women are further exploited when the possible physical complications are often sugarcoated or ignored all together, and Post-Abortion Syndrome isn't even acknowledged.

Procedure: Dissect fetal liver and thymus and occasional lymph node from fetal cadaver within 10 min WIT and ship within 12 hrs. of preparation. Perform screen for HIV, Hep B, and Hep C. Need at least 3/4 of thymus and l lobe of liver.

First, the abortion clinic staff misrepresents the reality of abortion. Then the unsuspecting pregnant woman is further lied to and exploited when they tell her that if she signs this permission slip she will be helping to protect and preserve life. Later in life, when women are ultimately confronted with the reality of abortion, possibly by giving birth, their world often crumbles down around them. At this critical point in their lives the abortion industry has nothing to offer these women. It is then they come to the pro-life movement for help and solace. There they will find outstretched, loving arms to hold them and share their pain, while at the same time helping them begin the road to recovery. Is it possible that even the most ardent pro-abortion activist will, to some degree, question the rightness of their cause when learning about these grisly revelations?

A few months ago I received a letter from a Reformed Jew. He is very concerned that anyone would attempt to win a Jew to Jesus Christ. He objects to Baptists or anyone else doing this, and I understand his concern, but of course he is wrong according to the Bible. Christians should love the Jews so much that they would seek to lead them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Dear Pastor:
For better or worse (to most of us Jews, clearly for worse) the prospect of bringing a Jew to renounce what 2000 years of history has called Judaism gladdens the hearts of some, including the president of the Southern Baptist denomination.

Rev. Paige Patterson, among many others, enthusiastically supports "messianic" Jewish groups, which are dedicated to telling Jews that Christian beliefs are really Jewish ones.

Truth be told, we Judaism-minded Jews wish all evangelists would simply leave Jews alone. But we recognize that the freedoms we cherish in this wonderful country allow them to pursue their goals, just as they allow us Jews to pursue our own which happen not to include proselytization of others.
Even a free society, however in fact, especially a free society must endeavor to curb misrepresentation. And employing time-honored Jewish religious traditions and symbols from Passover to prayer shawls, and most everything in between to lure unwary Jews to Christianity, as "messianics" routinely do, is tantamount to falsely claiming medical credentials in order to hawk a "miracle cure."

Rev. Patterson counters by insinuating that disapproving Jews are simply afraid of the power of the "messianics'" message. "The only people who have to fear a free marketplace of ideas," he recently told The New York Times' Gustav Niebuhr, "are people who are afraid their idea may not have enough currency."

He is partially correct. We are indeed afraid of him and his allies. Not, though, because of their message, which is easily enough countered (and which countless Jews over history willingly went to torture and death rather than accept). What we fear is something much more prosaic: the sheer power of numbers that thousands upon thousands of zealous evangelicals Southern Baptists, "messianics" and others can bring to assailing innocent but Jewishly ignorant Jews who have never received the basic Jewish education that would insulate them from missionaries' overtures. There are, unfortunately, many such Jews today; they include many thousands of immigrants from the lands of the former Soviet Union, who are all too vulnerable to the "messianics" self-misrepresentation. Few knowledgeable, observant Jews without emotional problems have ever been persuaded to join such groups.

Rev. Patterson and other like-minded Christians would benefit from a bit of imaginary role reversal. They might picture an overwhelmingly Jewish or Hindu (or atheist, for that matter) society with a stubborn minority of Southern Baptists and "messianics," many of them unschooled in the tenets of their religion. Then they might imagine the dominant faith (or faithlessness) declaring a goal of blanketing its beliefs over the minority. The object of Christianity's veneration is assailed as a fraud; "reason" is employed to debunk Christianity's most cherished and fundamental beliefs. And Christian objects and symbols are used to lure Christians away from their ancestral faith. Would Rev. Patterson defend that "free marketplace of ideas?"

What is sometimes called the Golden Rule was long ago incorporated into the New Testament. The more modest some would say more realistic Jewish version, attributed to the great sage Hillel, goes: "What is hateful to you, do not to others."

It is an aphorism that all Christians of true good will would do well to ponder.

I am not a Southern Baptist, but Jews need to be saved the same as Gentiles. Jesus Christ went to the Jews with the gospel, and so did the Apostle Paul. Here is what the Bible has to say.

Romans 1:16, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Romans 2:10, But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.
Matthew 10:6, But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matthew 15:24, But he (Jesus) answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matthew 28:18-19, And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Mark 16:15, And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Acts 1:8, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

If you do not believe the above Scriptures, then we have very little to discuss. Jesus Christ is the Messiah, and all who reject Him will face the judgment of God.

Baptists are only obeying the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and he was a Jew according to the flesh. Baptists have never persecuted Jews. As a Baptist I have always defended the Jews and the nation of Israel. Many of us Baptists volunteered to fight against Hitler as he killed the Jews.

I wish the very best for you, and that would be that you would know Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

In the left-hand column we are publishing the article by Dr. J. C. Willke, MD, entitled "Baby Parts for Sale." This is one of the most shocking stories that we have ever printed in the Plains Baptist Challenger. How any such thing could happen in a civilized country, is a mystery to me. This nation has had a rich religious and political heritage. The fact that this sin is tolerated by the American people, presents graphic pictures of the moral and spiritual bankruptcy of our nation.

No wonder the abortion industry has fought so hard to protect the practice of partial birth abortion. This kind of abortion delivers the baby all the way out of the mother except for a small portion of the head, then the doctor kills the baby by piercing the skull and sucking out the brains. This is nothing but murder, and those who do such things should be tried for murder, just like any other murderer. I really do not know any more horrible thing that can be done by a human being than this. Congress passed a law to ban this kind of abortion, but President Clinton vetoed it. Yet, he claims to be a Christian and a Baptist.

Dr. Willke, and others with him, has now revealed what is being done with the body parts of many of these babies. They are being dissected and sold to research organizations. If you can read his article and not be heartsick, horrified, and disgusted, then you must have lost all milk of human kindness. A society that permits such a thing to go on, without strong indignation and the strongest protest possible, is headed for the judgment of almighty God.

We have bird brained protesters going wild over the cutting down of a tree. One silly woman lived in a giant redwood tree for a year to protect it and she won. Others are raising huge sums of money to save spotted owls, baby seals, minnows, bugs and insects, yet I have never heard of these same people ever protesting abortion, partial birth abortion, or the dissecting of babies to salvage body parts for sale.

The news media is not interested in saving babies from destruction, but they support the bug and fly saviors. They support the radicals, but they ridicule the Christians and all others who have the least bit of human principle.

Adolph Hitler ordered the death of vast multitudes of Jews, just because they were Jews. We have read reports of there being six million who suffered these atrocities. Many kinds of cruel experiments were conducted on these people before they suffered horrible death. Even the worst of liberals today, want to expose the evils of Hitler. They have written books, and made movies, just to show how evil this man was. They try to brand him as a right winger, so that they can use the same brush to tar the conservatives in America. Of course we know that he was a radical left-winger, and that the right wing conservatives in our own country have nothing in common with him.

Joseph Stalin of Communist Russia has been embraced by certain liberals in America. He was just as evil as Hitler. He was actually responsible for the deaths of far more people than Hitler. The people of the Ukraine and other provinces of the Soviet Empire were shipped off to Siberian slave labor camps in huge numbers. They shipped them in cattle cars, often in the dead of winter. Vast numbers of them froze to death in these railroad cattle cars, since they had no heat, and no protection from the bitter cold weather. Those who resisted were merely slaughtered and buried in mass graves. In the slave camps they labored in the bitter cold weather with little or no medical care, while they suffered from starvation. They boasted that they would have sent more people to this fate, but they run out of cattle cars. These are the barbarians that we have been in alliance with for over 50-years. Of course I know about the cold war, but at the same time we have given them huge amounts of money in aid. We have also lent them many billions of dollars which will never be repaid.
Yet, in major universities, professors are still teaching the glories of communism. The majority of them are tenured and cannot be fired, and to tell you the truth, I don't think that many of these universities have any real desire to fire them. That is the reason why we have politicians, and other leaders who espouse communist socialist principles in America today. There are many leaders in religious denominations that promote the principles of Marxism today. This certainly reveals the power of Satan in our society.

Hitler and Stalin were responsible for the deaths of many millions of innocent people. Those involved in the abortion racket have killed around 40-million babies in this country. How can they be guiltless before God? Those who perform Partial-Birth abortions are guilty of unspeakable crimes. What can we say about those who dissect these little babies and sell their body parts? They may get by with it here on this earth, but they will certainly face a righteous God at the judgment, and it will not be a pleasant meeting.

Decent Americans should use every legal means to make it illegal to do such things. We do not support those opponents of abortion who bomb abortion clinics and kill doctors who perform abortions. They are taking the law into their own hands, and are doing a lot of harm to the Pro-Life movement.

Molech was "a heathen god worshiped especially by the Ammonites with gruesome orgies in which little ones were sacrificed. At least in some places an image of the god was heated and the bodies of children who had just been slain were placed in its arms. The worship of Molech was known to the children of Israel before they entered Canaan, for Moses very sternly forbade its worship (Lev. 18:21; 20:1-5). In spite of this prohibition, King Solomon, to please his numerous heathen wives, set up high places for Chemosh and for Moloch on Mount Olivet (I Kings 11:7), though its principal place of worship in and after Manasseh's time was the valley of the son of Hinnom (II Chron. 33:6), a place of such ill repute that `Gehenna', i.e., `the valley of Hinnom' became a type for hell (Matt. 5:29,30)...Because of this heathen worship God gave the land of Israel over to the rule of its enemies for many years (Psa. 106:35-42)." The Israelites sacrificed their own children as a burnt sacrifice unto a heathen God. This was an abominable sin to almighty God. Even though that Moses had warned them not to do so.

"There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch" (Deut. 18:10).

Solomon married foreign heathen wives that turned his heart away from God. In order to please them, he built altars to their gods, and that is how Molech was introduced into the land. "Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods" (I Kings 11:7-8). King Ahaz "made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from before the children of Israel" (II Kings 16:3).
God sent Israel into Assyrian bondage because "they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire..." (II Kings 17:17). Evil King Manasseh did the same evil thing. (II Chron. 33:6). God warned them over and over again through His prophets, but they paid no heed to God. The time came when there was no remedy. "And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place: But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy. Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand" (II Chron. 36:15-17).

Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, gives this as one of the reasons why the people of Jerusalem were carried away in captivity to Babylon. (Jer. 32:35-37). God judges sin. Our nation must repent and put an end to the murder of children, or we will face this judgment.

Sex is a beautiful thing given by God, but it is only to be experienced in the confines of the marriage between a man and a woman. In America sex has become a god that multitudes devote their time and energy in talking about it, being entertained by it, and experimenting with it. Hollywood has glorified it in movies. The televisions industry has capitalized on it. The music industry has placed great emphasis in promoting illicit sex. The advertising companies feature it, and the clothing industry has exploited it.

Sex education in the schools has helped to make casual sex cool and desirable. Pulpits have by and large been silent on the subject of abstinence and biblical morality. Revealing immodest clothing has popularized the emphasis on sex. Wives in the workplace rather than in the home, have had a disastrous effect on the family. They figure that they owe it to themselves and to their children, to buy things that will make them all happy. The children have to have their own TVs in their rooms, and of course the computer is a necessity as well. Children come home from school to an empty house. They are free to devour movies, and videos, that no adult should watch, much less children. Children as young as eight or 10 years of age begin to experiment with sexual activities. By the time they reach their teens they have heard it all, from the wrong sources, and they are primed and ready to do whatever the flesh leads them to do.

Teen age pregnancy rises, and the abortion clinics have more babies to murder, and more body parts to sell. Many mothers and fathers are on the same path, and the children follow the example of their parents. This of course feeds the Molech of today with the sacrifice of children. They may not sacrifice them to pass through the fire, but they sacrifice them to fires of lust and immorality.

The result will always be more fornication, and more out of wedlock babies. Many are turned to homosexuality. The Man/Boy love organizations seem to be gaining ground. When will bestiality be approved by multitudes? America has turned to the life style of Corinth, and of Sodom and Gomorrah. Anything goes, and very little is forbidden. Where will it all stop? In the righteous wrath and judgment of a Holy God.

Thank the Lord for good godly Christian parents, who are striving to raise their children in a biblical manner. It is an uphill job, but many are succeeding, because they value their children more than material things. They fear God and love their children. They are not willing to sacrifice their children to Molech. Such people are the very reason why our society has not fallen completely. They are the salt of the earth, and the hope of the future. May God raise up many more families that will follow the path of righteousness.

From Washington State: Dear Sir... I just want to send you a SPECIAL thank you for the way you have tackled forthrightly the issue of modesty!!
I mean -- immodesty! The churches are rampant with it! Now, I used to dress QUITE immodestly and I would say that my growth in Jesus has BEEN VERY VERY slow!! So, why wasn't I taught as a young disciple of Jesus to clothe myself wholesomely??? And in addition, why wasn't I taught to give up all things as in Luke 12? I am now grappling with that issue almost 14 years later.
Some scriptures have come to mind on the subject, I'm thinking it might be a key to what's wrong with our churches today. Well, remember the great commission, we usually focus on the "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations" but notice the end of it, doesn't Jesus say, "teaching them to observe ALL things whatsoever I have commanded you.... "
I think that's a GREAT part of what's missing in Christianity today, is that the church -- with the great emphasis put on GRACE has lacked in actually teaching - what the commandments of Jesus are!!!
I think it would be awesome to have Sunday school and church lessons one right after the next, going through the gospels (in a fourfold sense) of revealing in order what were the actions and commands of Jesus and listing them (not so that we can be legalistic) but so the standard for us to strive for because we love Jesus and have been saved by Him and we want to please Him, is set before us in which to strive!
I asked leaders at our "family camp" why the different standard? Why at the youth camp kids are to cover themselves and not go around in bathing suits but here they can????
Now, I am learning even more about modesty - and you quoted what I was thinking of earlier about the loins being consider immodest. Well, I plan to bookmark your page and when I get some ink for my printer I want to print that. Blessings! Susie

From Jane: Thank God , I just ran across Evalyn's testimony. I just went through the same exact thing I mean word for word I was also Baptist born again in 1984. Left the church in 1992 went into the charsmatic movement nothing but torture hit my life also many of the same things. I was tormented and at 1 time wanted to die than live like that. I was at the altar people casting out demons nothing seem to work. Well thank God he told me to go back where I first meet him. It was at the Baptist Church. I just started a new beginning. I took my eyes off of Jesus and put my trust In man. Well never again. I just cleaned my house I threw away every tape and book from the Charismatic Movement and I had lots. But the Bible tells us a house divided will not stand. I was calling on God and the same time praying to the devil in tongues. Well it stopped. I will never do that again. Any way they have too many Judas churches saying money coming. Whose shoes do they walk in Judas or Jesus? Sister in Christ. P.S. I am set free God bless all of you. Is the worship of the Virgin Mary a basic, fundamental doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church?
There are Roman Catholics who deny it. They "explain" the position Mary holds in Roman Catholic doctrine. There are Protestants, and probably Baptists, who deny it. There are those, Catholics and Protestants and probably Baptists who become indignant when it is charged that the worship of the Virgin Mary is a fundamental Catholic doctrine.

Pope Paul should be good authority. Pope Paul says that she is an object of worship. Pope Paul says that she is "the supporting light of Christ."

Here is the prayer that Pope Paul prayed as he led 2,000 cardinals, patriarchs, and bishops in a service in commemoration of the opening of the Second Vatican Councilas reported by the "Register," the weekly Roman Catholic paper published in Denver, CO, in its Oct. 20 issue:

"O Mary, we pray to thee for our Christian brothers still separated from our Catholic family. See how a glorious group of them celebrates your cult with fidelity and love. See how, in other groups, there is such firmness in calling one's self and in being Christian. May there now dawn the recollection and worship of thee, most pious. Call all these sons of yours in the same unity, under your maternal and celestial protection.

"Watch over, O Mary, all mankind this modern world in which the divine plan calls us to live and work in, a world that turns its back on the sight of Christ; watch over this world, so that it may emerge from the frightful shadows created by its own actions.
