Biblical Standards Challenged in Christian School-In Florida, a private Christian school is facing a lawsuit for expelling a student who admits he's a homosexual. Eighteen-year-old Jeffrey Woodward claims the Jupiter Christian School in West Palm Beach expelled him three days after he admitted to a teacher that he was a homosexual. (Crosswalk, 10/24/03) When answering affirmatively when asked if he was a homosexual, school officials called his parents. The parents have filed a "breach of contract" for expelling the student. Christian schools as well as Christian parents who home school their children are already under the gun by the liberal media. Be sure that wherever Bible standards are followed, the devil will have his messengers challenging the standard procedure. (W. W. `Bill' Mosley, hereafter WWM)

Islam's Religious Practices- "Some 22 Christians, many secret converts from Islam to Christianity, have been arrested by police since 21 October in a disturbing new crackdown on apostates and their supporters in Egypt. The Christians have been taken from Alexandria to police stations in Cairo and are being beaten, interrogated and tortured. The dramatic crackdown began on Tuesday 21 October with the arrests of two converts (man and wife)... The following day some seven others were also arrested and taken to the office of the Attorney General. Yesterday (23 October) the number rose to 22 as more and more converts and Christians who have tried to assist them were rounded up and arrested in dramatic sweeps by police." (Crosswalk, 10/28/03) `Peaceful Islam(?)' is practicing its religious convictions in all parts of the world. The Muslim religion hates Christianity and is religiously bound to destroy all who practice it. The manner in which true Christianity is treated now in America will worsen should Islam gain a foothold. -WWM

Wickedness of Man Great Over The Earth-(Taipei) The government of Taiwan announced Monday that it will bring in legislation to legalize same-sex marriage. It will make the island nation, off the coast of mainland China, the first in Asia to allow gay and lesbian couples to marry. (365Gay.com, 10/27/03) This would be highly unlikely to come to fulfillment if former Pres. Chiang Kai-shek were alive. But then that is true of the ever changing persuasion of many nations, when a country's conservatives are replaced by liberal leadership. If global wickedness at the coming of Christ will equal that in Noah's day (how much worse can it get?), one can only imagine the wickedness on earth just prior to the flood. "The human rights of homosexuals have been gradually recognized by countries around the world," the statement from the (Taiwan) presidential office said. "To protect their rights, people (of the same sex) should have the right to wed and have a family based on their free will," it added. Homosexuals `having a family' can neither be legislated or free- willed. -WWM

Pope's Practice of Canonization-Pope John Paul II has established many records in his 25 year reign. One being, compared to other popes of the twentieth century, JP 2 has canonized 476 to 98 for all other popes in that time frame. In an article by Steven Gertz, 10/24/03, Mother Teresa is just one miracle away from sainthood. Going beyond the borders of Europe, he canonized 103 Korean martyrs in Seoul in 1984. Four years later he declared 120 Chinese martyrs to be saints. Sounds disturbingly akin to the new-Evangelicals number racket in easy believism. The Pope can no more make a person a saint than can a Billy Graham Crusade. Sanctification in Christ Jesus for all that call upon His name through repentance and faith produces saints. (1 Cor. 1:2) This is instantaneous, not years after death. Saints were well and active in the church at Ephesus. (Eph. 1:1) This was long before any pope or neo-Evangelical arrived on the scene. -WWM

Immoral Acceptance-Here are some disturbing statistics posted by Barna Research Group, 11/3/03. Of over 1,000 interviewed, 61% of all adults deem gambling as morally acceptable. Sixty percent of the same group agreed that living with the opposite sex outside of marriage was permissible. Up to 42% believed homosexuality was appropriate while using profanity was approved by 36%. How can any nation with such a mind-set fall short of mockery while asking God to bless America? God will not only cease to bless an ungodly nation, He will bring it to quick destruction unless there is genuine confession of sin and repentance (Jer. 18:7,8). -WWM

Gamblers Help The Elderly?-Maine voters approved placing slot machines at horse racing tracks, with part of the proceeds to be used to lower prescription drug costs for the elderly and state scholarships. The totals were 226,665 in favor and 197,484 against. (Bapt. Press, 11/5/03) This is equal to cutting one end of a rope off and tying it to the other end seeking to make the rope longer. However, the devil is masterful at deception. Sin tax has never, and will never pay its way. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out this is a political scheme. They're using benefits for the elderly as a stepping stone to requisitioning taxes from those who already have a problem. (Prov. 14:34) "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people." -WWM

NJ Judge Agrees With God's Ruling-Judge Linda Feinberg rejected arguments made by lawyers of 7 homosexual couples that the state's laws against same-sex `marriage' violate the New Jersey constitution. "The right to marry has always been understood in law and tradition to apply only to couples of different genders," she wrote. "A change in that basic understanding would not lift a restriction on the right, but would work a fundamental transformation of marriage into an arrangement that could never have been within the intent of the Framers of the 1947 Constitution. Significantly, such a change would contradict the established and universally accepted legal precept that marriage is the union of people of different genders." (BP, 11/5/03) Good for Judge Linda!! Not only would it "contradict the established and universal" thinking about marriage, it would reveal the depth of sin-sickness our society has descended. Thank God for federal judges that agree with God on such issues. Homosexuality is not only sin against God, it `jest ain't natural.' (Rom. 1) - WWM

Islam's Contempt For Christians-"Elisabeth Kendal reports that Islam has, to varying degrees at various times, persecuted Christians for over 1400 years. Christians living under Islamic domination generally suffer crippling discrimination and severe persecution for their allegiance to Christ. Apostates (those who choose to leave Islam) often pay with their liberty or their life. However, as Islamic fervor has increased over the past decade, both persecution of Christians and jihad (Islamic holy war) activity have increased." (Crosswalk, 11/7/03) Even in the face of such reporting, many in America are blinded to the threat of Islam oppression here. (2 Cor 4:4) "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." -WWM

World Anglicans On Homosexuality-Bishop Peter Akinola, who represents bishops in Asia, Africa and South America makes a statement on the ECUSA's appointment of homosexual V. Gene Robinson as bishop. Akinola called their relationship with ECUSA an "impaired communion," noting that "authorities within [ECUSA] consider that their cultural-based agenda is of far greater importance than obedience to the word of God. Such a church is bound to become a shrine for the worship of men rather than God." (Federalist,11/7/03) Bishop Akinola hit the religious nail of apostasy squarely on the head. Here is a certain amount of wisdom even among false religion. Can it possibly be said of too many Baptist that their "cultural-based agenda" takes priority in a place belonging to Christ alone? Have some Baptist churches "become a shrine for the worship of men rather than God?" This will likely raise the ire of some so called `Baptist.' But look closely, who is really getting the glory in special music at your church? Or for that matter even in `revival services.' -WWM

Planned Parenthood Issues Fatal Drug-An 18 year old Calif. woman died after being issued the RU 486 drug. This is a `therapeutic drug-induced abortion' which the FDA approved in 2000. (BP, 11/10/03) In this case it was a two for one for Planned Parenthood. The FDA is said to have approved the drug to be used for treating life-threatening illnesses. The drug is an importation from France. The former Pres. Bush administration refused the importation for the drug known as the French abortion pill. "On his second full day in office in January 1993, Pres. Clinton initiated the process to drop the import ban on the drug." Do all who voted for Clinton have a part in the death of this young woman? It does matter how you vote. -WWM

Gay Rights Are Greatly Wrong-Lambda Legal, an organization defending the so-called rights of lesbians, gay men, bi-sexuals, and cross-dressers, have praised Massachusetts high court for granting gay couples full marriage rights. Their goal is not yet reached. "We will continue working in states around the country so couples can say `my wife' or `my husband' and have the respect and protections they need." (New York, 11/18/03) "Lambda Legal vowed to push forward to win marriage for same-sex couples in NJ and other states." Lambda Legal's Marriage Project director, David Buckel said, "The court has said explicitly that civil marriage can't be limited to different-sex couples." This harmonizes with the new all gay high school in NYC. Now a homosexual `married couple' can send their children to an all gay school. God will have the last laugh at this stagnated mental cesspool. (Psa. 59:8) "But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision." -WWM
